Minnesota Varsity

Classical MPR is proud to spotlight our region’s top young classical performers and composers with our Minnesota Varsity program. Usually, we end each season with an exciting live showcase concert in the spring. We’re unable to gather to hear the musicians perform live this year, but we aren’t going to let that stop us from celebrating this incredible group of talented kids!

This year, we created a special Minnesota Varsity Showcase event. Watch now to nurture the next generation of classical talent — and to say you heard them before they were famous!

This special Minnesota Varsity Showcase event is hosted by John Birge and features recorded performances and interviews from each of the finalists chosen by our judges.
