Why did you choose this piece?
This year is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Clara Schumann. She was a virtuosic pianist and composer. We wanted to celebrate by playing her only piano trio. Bursts of emotions combined with different textures, characters, and colors makes this piece a fine example of Romantic chamber music.
