Renee Fleming's Upper West Side apartment up for sale

Have you ever wondered how opera stars live? Now's your chance, as you could have a shot at Renee Fleming's Upper West Side apartment, which was put on the market for a cool $6.895 million.

In an interivew with the Wall Street Journal, Fleming notes that she has spent hours tending to plants on her wraparound terrace, and that she frequently bikes along the Hudson River between performances at the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall.

The reason for the sale? Fleming is moving to Washington, D.C., to be with her husband, attorney Timothy Jessell, whom she married in 2011.

If you're interested in making an offer on the 3,000-square-foot home, you can find the listing on Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
