The Mill City Summer Opera opens its final season at the Mill City Museum Courtyard Ruins on July 12 in Minneapolis with Mozart's two-act comic opera Cosi Fan Tutte. The production runs through July 24.
Mezzo-soprano Heather Johnson, who comes from White Bear Lake and graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, sings the role of Despina. She and music director Brian DeMaris, who also plays piano, join Classical MPR host Julie Amacher in the Maud Moon Weyerhauser studio to talk about the production, share two delightful arias, and reveal where the Mill City Summer Opera will be next summer.
