Why did you choose this piece?
I like to feel that all the effort and determination I put into working on my craft makes people happy, and a successful performance makes me feel like I'm doing that. I want to continue to focus and improve because performing is the only cool talent I have, so there is not much else I want to do with my life. "Her Voice" is a song that requires softer singing in the upper end of range, which is a skill I really want to master, yet it also has some really nice legato lines throughout it. I really enjoy the contrast throughout the piece.
