Tell us about the piece you have submitted to Minnesota Varsity.
In my piece, iconoclasm is the act of breaking images and previously established patterns. The simultaneous repetition and unpredictability of phrases mimic the chaos of everyday life. The rules of sound and time gradually distort into the reality of our frenzied, modern world. A thread guides the listener through this labyrinth of sound, which eventually leads to unity and catharsis.
