What is The Concert Truck?
The Concert Truck delivers high-quality classical music performances to schools, underserved areas, and open spaces. Its mission is to engage and enrich lives by making classical music accessible to everyone.
Launched in 2016 by pianists Susan Zhang and Nick Luby, The Concert Truck was the First Prize recipient of the Creativity in Music Award given by SPARK: Carolina's Music Leadership Laboratory, and has been featured on South Carolina Public Radio's Sonatas and Soundscapes and SCETV's Carolina Money and Palmetto Scene.
What is Pop Up Classical?
For 50 years, Classical MPR has broadcast classical music over our airwaves. Now, we're bringing Pop Up Classical performances to events and venues across Minnesota.
Connecting artists with the communities they come from, Pop Up Classical stages live performances in unexpected places. Our goal is simple: to take classical music out of the concert hall and make its beauties, benefits and joy accessible to everyone!
