As part of Classical MPR's 50th anniversary we'll celebrate one of public radio's most popular programs — Saint Paul Sunday. Over the next few months, we'll share highlights from the popular program, hosted by Bill McGlaughlin, every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. on Classical MPR.
On Tuesday, April 11, we'll air an episode featuring an ensemble that has been described as the most robust piano trio of all time — the Beaux Arts Trio. This episode contains the group's first appearance on the program, taking place in 1988.
