Why do you like to compose?
Composing has always been one one my passions — it gives me a chance to be creative. One of my goals as a composer is to experiment with new sounds. My piece, Ironic Contrasts, was very fun to write, as most of my pieces are. I included some humor in the music - following a lively and energetic mood with a lopsided waltz. I also used a range of dynamics and irregular rhythms to continue my theme of contrasting moods.
