O Come, All Ye Jedi: Organist mixes Star Wars and carols

What would Christmas in the stars sound like? Well, it could sound like this...

...or you can take the more elegant route, as New Zealand organist Richard Apperley did with his improvised mash-up of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," "O Come All Ye Faithful," and themes from John Williams's Star Wars score.

Unfortunately, as Classic FM notes, Apperley's organ — at St. Paul's Cathedral in Wellington — was damaged in the recent New Zealand earthquake. There were fortunately no injuries at the church, but the organ will require extensive repairs. Updates about the status of the organ and the cathedral are available at the church's website.
