Wednesday, Feb 24, is the 250th anniversary of the birth of Samuel Wesley. He was the member of a musical dynasty, heir to a famous Methodist hymn writer, a prodigy called the "English Mozart," a virtuoso who revived interest in Bach's music for both organ and piano in Britain, and a man with a very colorful personal life.
