Of the Mystical and Marvelous: The Rose Ensemble in Paris

Rose Ensemble sings of Sainte Chapelle

The Rose Ensemble was created for music like this. Sainte-Chapelle, the holy chapel, was completed in 1248 in Paris. King Louis IX (Saint Louis) built this Gothic "jewel box" of glass and stone to store the relic of Christ's Crown of Thorns. It is a mystical and marvelous place, and the music it inspired will transport you.

Jordan Sramek and the Rose Ensemble join Steve Staruch to talk about this weekend's program of choral gems.
