What are your goals as a musician/performer/group?
I have many goals as a performer. Three specific things that I strive for when I perform are engaging my audience, conveying a message, and showing my passion for music. When I am singing for someone, I focus of the musicality of that piece. It is more important for me to demonstrate the meaning behind a song rather than the precise notes and rhythms. Another one of my goals, is to be the best performer I can be, and to use that to inspire people. People do not remember what you do, people do not remember what you say, but they do remember how you made them feel. I want to have that effect of someone who is listening to me. Music is the unity that binds people together and my goal is to create that every time I perform.
