Traditional Norwegian -- Sautrall
Traditional Norwegian trans. Linda Tutas Haugen Sautrall "Sheep Call" Lumina

Lumina is a five piece women's ensemble of four vocalists, and one multi-instrumentalist string player. They are committed to the finding the beauty, mystery and hope inherent in music, performing folk songs from Eastern Europe, medieval songs with accompaniment from Renaissance ancestors of the violin, and African-American Spirituals. They will be visiting schools in Saint Paul, Fridley, and Brooklyn Park.

We in Lumina feel that being able to share our music and expertise with elementary school students is going to be the best next step for us to build our audience and share our love of singing and music from around the world. Music teaches us so much about living and being a full human being, and I feel that music is sometimes being marginalised in our schools, and this program really helps enrich the students' lives.

— Linda Kachelmeier, alto and Artistic Director
