The Concordia Wind Quintet is an ensemble made up of music faculty at Concordia College in Moorhead. They are heavily involved in the local community as performers and educators outside of the college sphere. They will be visiting schools in Warroad, Grand Rapids, Cohasset, Bigfork, and Crookston.
The Concordia Wind Quintet is very excited to be Class Notes Artists this year. We believe that music education outreach is extremely important right now with budget cuts and it seems like music programs are the first to go. There's nothing like live music to incite interest and enthusiasm, and our group really reaches out to kids in that way and we try to make our program really accessible and fun, and we wanna share our love and enthusiasm for music with the kids, and hope that they get to where we are cos we know what music has done in our lives and we really wanna share that with others.
