Moveable Feast: Best New Brews

Moveable Feast: Best New Brews

Following up on last week's Best New Burgers conversation, this week we're looking at new brews from Mn Monthly's Best Burgers & Brews issue.

When the 'Surly Bill' passed in 2011, it launched a microbrewing boom — even now, it seems like another new microbrewery is opening every few weeks. The Minnesota Monthly 'Twin Cities Tap Room Guide' showcases diversity — each place has a unique brewing style and ambiance.

There's a different tap room for every situation. For example, if you like Belgians, check out Boom Island Brewing. If you've enjoyed Indeed's Day Tripper Pale Ale (sold in cans at local liquor stores), go see what's on tap at their Northeast brewery.

If a cool roof deck is what you're after, hit up LynLake Brewery. If you're in the mood for cask ale, you'll want to visit Town Hall Tap. Don't like beer? How about cider at Sociable Cider Werks?
