For our weekly feature, "Moveable Feast," Rachel Hutton of Minnesota Monthly joins John Birge to talk about where to go and what to eat in Minnesota.

With Amtrak now running out of Union Depot in St. Paul, John Birge and Minnesota Monthly's Rachel Hutton talk about where to eat if one were to take the train to Red Wing, Minn.

First of all, Rachel points out that Red Wing is a beautiful destination, a town located along the Mississippi River in the blufflands of southeastern Minnesota. The Amtrak station is located right in the center of town, and immediately after alighting from the train, one sees the St. James Hotel.

In the basement of the St. James Hotel, Rachel says you'll find The Port. This fine restaurant got a new chef a couple years ago who upgraded the menu with local, seasonal ingredients. John adds that in the warmer months, there is also patio seating.

For something more casual, Rachel suggests the Red Wing Brewery, which serves its own craft beer on tap with gourmet pizza.
