Tune in at 10:00 a.m. on May 11 for a live broadcast of Wagner's Gotterdammerung from the Metropolitan Opera, and enjoy a slideshow from the production.

Wagner's epic Ring Cycle concludes with a climax of betrayal and loss as focus shifts from the realm of the gods to the power and ambition of human beings. It is left to Brunnhilde, in the legendary Immolation Scene that brings the cycle to a close, to restore balance to the world.

The Ring's cataclysmic finale stars Deborah Voigt as Brunnhilde, opposite Lars Cleveman as Siegfried. Hans-Peter Konig is Hagen and Fabio Luisi conducts.
