Classical MPR is celebrating Holy Week with special programming.

For Holy Week, Classical MPR is featuring sacred choral music, including Durufle's Requiem and Bach's St. Matthew Passion, as well as selections from The Dale Warland Singers and The Rose Ensemble.



Tuesday

7 p.m. Maurice Durufle's Requiem, with the Sioux-Falls based South Dakota Chorale and conductor Brian A. Schmidt. Hosted by Bill Morelock.



Wednesday

6 p.m. Reflections for Holy Week: Choral Music with Dale Warland, hosted by Steve Staruch.

Thursday

7 p.m. The Rose Ensemble, joined by the ensemble Voces 8, performs the Mass by Renaissance master Gery de Ghersem. Hosted by Tom Crann.



Friday

7 p.m. Bach: St. Matthew Passion. Stephen Cleobury leads the King's College Choir, the Brandenburg Consort, and soloists in Bach's masterwork. Hosted by Lynne Warfel and Bill Morelock.



Sunday

6 a.m. Pipedreams - "Let the Round Earth Rejoice"

1 p.m. SymphonyCast - Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra
This week we're at the Warsaw Easter Festival. A 17 year old series that highlights the influence and unifying effects of Beethoven.

8 p.m. Bob Christiansen and Valerie Kahler present From Darkness to Light: A one-hour Celebration of Easter Sunday.
