Ann Kim and her husband Conrad Leifur are the founders of the red-hot pizza joints Pizzeria Lola and Hello Pizza, located on the border between Minneapolis and Edina. While they could just keep repeating those concepts and put in for an early retirement, they instead wanted to do something different and created Young Joni — a huge space in Northeast Minneapolis that pairs pizza with Korean-style meats and small plates (with a secret speakeasy in back!). The design is very cool and like nothing else in the neighborhood, It's great to see Kim expand her culinary repertoire beyond her very delicious pizzas.
