We talked Mall of America dining a few weeks ago, but since this is the season of shopping, I thought I'd add a few faves from other malls.
Southdale is the country's first indoor mall — you can hardly call yourself a Minnesotan if you haven't been there! You should go with old-school eats for this mall: either the Lakeshore Grill (the department-store dining room back from when it was Dayton's) or DeLeo Broz (New York style pizza next to the theater, with pinball and video games).
If you're in Galleria, some of your best options are local chains Crave or Parasole's Pittsburgh Blue or Good Earth. Speaking of Good Earth, Ridgedale is home to the health-focused restaurant's new counter-service spinoff, Field Day, that's worth checking out.
