Hear Concordia Choir on Choral Stream

Based at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., the Concordia Choir as a reputation as one of America's finest a cappella choirs. Founded in 1920, the 72-voice choir has performed in nearly every major hall, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

The Concordia Choir is led by Dr. René Clausen, who was named conductor in 1986, the third person in the choir's history to have that role.

On Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. Central, Classical MPR's Choral Stream will broadcast the 2016 Concordia Choir's touring program, recorded in concert on March 13, 2016, at Concordia College.
