Lucia's has been in the news lately — its namesake was recently retired and the establishment was sold to a new group of owners. One way that Lucia's was very successful was having the elegant cafe, and then the more casual "Lucia's To Go" next door.
A few other eateries in the area have similar plans in the works. The Bachelor Farmer will be opening a casual cafe in the space being vacated by its retail clothing shop, Askov Finlayson, which is relocating across the street to expand.
Also, Restaurant Alma is taking over the neighboring Dunn Brothers coffee space to open a casual cafe — and also talking about adding an inn on the second floor of the building, in case you want to go live there and take all your meals at both eateries.
