For our weekly feature Moveable Feast, John Birge and Minnesota Monthly's Rachel Hutton talk about where to go and what to eat in Minnesota.

The menu options in Minneapolis Parks have increased greatly in recent years, a fact not lost on John and Rachel.

Here are Rachel's picsk for the best dishes to order at the various parks:

Tin Fish (Lake Calhoun) — "I'm super boring and get the Tin Fish sandwich, breaded and fried, with tartar sauce and hot sauce."

Sea Salt (Minnehaha Falls Park) — "Crabcake sandwich, po-boys and tacos are my go-tos but I've had the daily specials before and they're really good — white-tablecloth cooking on a plastic patio furniture. There's also a great tap beer list, with lots of local brews."

Bread & Pickle (Lake Harriet) — "It's the only concession that serves breakfast, so I like going there for an egg and cheese sandwich. They also do terrific cheese curds."

Sandcastle (Lake Nokomis) — "My favorite is the American Indian fry bread — it's a puffy, chewy base topped like a taco with ground bison, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. My husband prefers the BLT sandwich called The Big Locus — but that may just be because he works at Locus Architecture, the firm that renovated Sandcastle's building. I like the sandwich, just not as much as the building's cool design."
