The Houston Chronicle has described WindSync as "revolutionary chamber musicians." Founded in 2009, the Houston, Texas-based quintet have already gained a reputation for their energetic performances. This weekend, WindSync are in the Twin Cities to give master classes and to perform at Saint Anthony Park United Church of Christ through the Schubert Club's Music in the Park Series.

On this post-blizzard Friday afternoon, WindSync stopped by the Classical MPR studios to play some music and to talk with host Alison Young about their innovative and sassy approach to music-making.

WindSync perform standing up and without music stands. Their repertoire consists of the classics and beyond, and they present the music in unconventional and "interactive" ways.
