2012 Featured Artist
Age: 16
Hometown: Rochester
Student at: Schaeffer Academy in Rochester.
"I'm currently studying piano with Dr. Paul Wirth and I hope to pursue a career in piano either performing or teaching. My Minnesota Varsity experience has further confirmed that goal.
Probably the most memorable part of the whole experience was being able to do a professional recording in the studio at MPR and then to hear my recording played on the air. The people at MPR have been wonderful.
My participation in Minnesota Varsity has opened up additional performance opportunities such as playing in the Minnesota Varsity Tour concert at The College of St Benedicts and also playing with several other performers at the MPR booth at the State Fair. The exposure generated through MPR has also opened up several other opportunities to perform locally in Rochester."
