Sonata No. 23 in F minor, Op. 57
Anton Kuerti
Anton Kuerti is internationally recognized as one of the great Beethoven interpreters. His performances are not simply concerts, but more like "events."

He made his debut at age 11 and continues to grow as an artist of the highest caliber.

Pianist Anton Kuerti is an acknowledged expert in the style and nuance of Beethoven's music. His all-Beethoven performances are music events.

Such an event occurred at the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center on the Macalester College campus on November 14 this year.

From his Chopin Society recital in November, an all-Beethoven recital, Kuerti performs the Beethoven Sonata No. 23 "Appassionata" in this afternoon's Regional Spotlight.
