Class Notes Artist Announcement: Copper Street Brass

Copper Street Brass is a full-time non profit educational ensemble that visits dozen of schools and does many clinics throughout the year. They are the only full-time brass ensemble in Minnesota and one of only a handful in America. They perform classical, jazz and pop/rock music all arranged by French horn player, Tim Bradley. They will be doing a week-long tour of schools in the southwest of Minnesota, as well as a mini-tour of the Iron Range, and a school in Willmar, and also Saint Paul.

Class Notes Artist Announcement: Matra

Matra is a world/jazz fusion percussion ensemble made up of vibraphone, marimba, tabla drums from India, and western drum set. They perform original compositions and arrangements as well as percussion ensemble rep. Their influences range from jazz structure and improvisation to the rhythms of Northern India to progressive rock. They will be at schools in Litchfield, Willmar, Saint Paul, Columbia Heights and Lakeville.
