A music school has opened in Northeast Minneapolis, thanks to Sarah Jane Perbix (pianist for local indie rockers, Cloud Cult).
Perbix expanded her piano studio earlier this month to become "Sarah Jane's Music School," and will offer private lessons and classes to aspiring musicians of all ages in piano, guitar, strings, percussion and voice.
The school already has nearly 50 students, and this week opened its doors to new students. Classes currently open for registration include "Preschool Music and Movement" and a songwriting class with Haley Bonar.
